Launching this July, Gouldy’s Tees make t-shirts that are based on a love of the reggae aesthetic and influenced by classic record sleeves. In return for design inspiration, a percentage of every t-shirt sale is donated to the Alpha Boys Music School charity in Jamaica to keep the music going.
Embracing a tradition of good music from round the world, designs are influenced by the Roots and Latino musical genres. Inspiration for the brand sprang from a long immersion in the roots and dub sound system scene, and in former years the collective responsible for Gouldy’s Tees spent time following the system around Europe.
