Belts. Where would our pants be without them? Probably all the way down around our ankles. These simple yet useful accessories make it possible for us to walk down the street without inadvertently exposing ourselves. Okay, perhaps that was an exaggeration. But it’s not entirely impossible, right?
Belts are one of the most common accessories that people wear. Ever wondered when they came about? No? Well we’ll tell you anyway.
Belts have been around since as early as the Bronze Age. That’s right – a really, really long time ago. In modern times, before the 1920s, belts were mostly decorative and associated with the military.
Here at Brand Neusense, our favourite type of belt is the web belt. Since it has no holes, it is extremely flexible and can fit practically any waist – especially great for those with unpredictable waistlines (we won’t name names, though).
