Last week, we have reported Michael Jackson’s shocking death, as well as the Google and Twitter downtime caused by the the amount of traffic after the announcement of his death, in our news blog. Indeed, the response is just overwhelming all over the net, something you can only expect in an event such as this. Michael Jackson will definitely be missed, and you can only assume that the tributes and the mourning will continue on for a couple more months.

You know how it is when someone was successful in leaving a mark in other people’s lives. His physical body may have passed away, but his music lives on.

As for RollingStone, they can always take pride in how their magazine covers have become, not merely collectors’ items, but a testament to Michael Jackson’s legendary existence.

It may be a time of deep mourning for us all, MJ fans and music-lovers alike, but essentially, now is also a time of celebration and reminiscing, for Michael Jackson’s controversial but very inpiring life, and how music and the world will never be the same again because he lived.

Forgive me for the giddiness, but my excitement is making me pee in my PJs. Tomorrow (fine, later) my friends and I will watch the Revenge of the Fallen, and I’m already getting my outfit ready. I know right, excited, much?

Today’s M&MW is just the perfect outfit to wear to a movie date with girlfriends. A sleeveless top, your favorite pair of jeans, a pair of chuck taylors and you’re all set. I know, I know. You usually don’t pair a printed top with a printed belt, but let me get away with this just now. I’m trying to be loyal to the “robots” theme, and Vans happened to have this Miss Roboto belt design, too. Pretty awesome, huh.

I knew it, it’s not just me. The Robot mania is all over town, and we can only blame it to the launch of the much-awaited second-installment to the Transformers saga that we all know and love.

Andy of HideYourArms.com came up with an awesome list of all robot shirts he could find online. He listed 101 of them. You’d think that’s all the robot shirts there are in the world, but hey, I can add 3 more to that list.

By the way, I am not playing favorites. It’s purely coincidental that I’m blogging about Dephect shirts again, when I blogged about them just recently. Can I help it if their shirt designs are so ‘IN’ these days? :)

So.. every Wednesday, I will mix and match products from our catalog (as stylishly and fashionably as I can, I promise) to showcase here in this blog. To start of, here’s a summer get-up for all yah wimmen who love a laid-back, casual look. Now I don’t know about you, but if I want a casual summer get-up, I’d go for khaki. ;)

This is something I’d wear to the park, or to the beach (you can wear your favorite bikini underneath the shirt and shorts), or even to the mall, on a warm summer day. With comfortable khaki shorts (and a light-colored cotton shirt to match), you can sprawl comfortably on the grass or on the sand all you want while reading your favorite book or listening to your Ipod playlist!
