Can you feel it? Summer is, little by little, bidding us goodbye. *sniff* Time to get ready for the Fall, but here’s one last summer get-up as we say goodbye to the Summer of 2009.

Besides, I still can’t get over Me&Yu’s flowery satin skirts! (Okay okay, my motives are selfish, sue me.) The moment these two skirts (the other one being the vintage-looking Rose Skirt, which was featured two Wednesdays ago) landed on our catalog, I couldn’t stop thinking of ways to mix&match them! I think our catalog needs more skirts, don’t you girls think? Gotta tell the boss to consign more of these!

Anyway, I’ve always felt (yes, you can feel it) that the combination of pink/peach and green represents Summer best, they remind me of watermelons, peaches and cream, and strawberries. Hence, today’s Mix&Match is highly inspired by the colors pink and green, and this yummy Me&Yu’s floral balloon skirt — don’t you just want to live in this skirt?!

Why hello there everyone! It’s Wednesday once again, and here’s something I put together for the guys.

Confession, I have this crazy thing for men who can get away with wearing, ehem, red. It’s time to move away from the usual blacks and blues guys, time to highlight your outfit with red trimmings if you haven’t yet!

Whether worn by men or women, I think red is so sexy. Don’t you think?

I’m keeping it simple today. We’re through the last weeks of Summer, so, inspite of the sporadic rain showers, put on that summery skirt while you still can!

This vintage-looking Me & Yu Rose Skirt, a recent addition to our catalog, is something that you can wear to as casual as a normal work day, or to as formal as an evening dinner with your boyfriend or friends. Match it with a plain-colored top (preferably black, or pink, or green), and a pair of shoes of matching color (whether flats, or heels, or boots) and you’re good to go! You can also accessorize with some beaded necklaces, it’s really up to your style. For me, however, I’ll go for as simple as I can go, since the green ribbon up front is already an accessory in itself.

But for me, pink (not red) is for the brave, for the reason that not everyone can get away wearing it and looking fab in it.
