This Mix & Match Wednesday’s World Cup Edition is designed to inspire all England fans to pull together following Saturday’s disappointing result against the USA.

Now more than ever we must keep the faith in the belief that we will show the world that we are the true masters of football. Most seem to forget, we invented the game! Let’s get away from this negative media nonsense and remember that we are England and we are proud!!

The USA game did not go to plan, but remember how the 1966 and 1990 campaigns started! We are in a group that we will win. That is not arrogance, it is simply fact. So let’s stick it to Algeria and then to Slovenia, before moving on to the second place team in the German group. How sweet would it be to draw the Germans?!?!

Franz Beckenbauer’s comments about our national game are a joke and will only make rubbing German faces in African soil all the sweeter.
