Enough of these divorce stories for the moment. Because now, wedding bells are ringing for two TV couples, Charity and Jai of the successful soap “Emmerdale”.

Actress Emma Atkins revealed what’s brewing for her character “Charity Tate” saying the 5th time’s the charm for her character who is set to wed Jai Sharma played by Chris Bisson.

“She’s desperate now to get it over and done with. This wedding was put off because Cain interferes again, so she’s just anxious to get married. This is going to be the wedding she succeeds in,” she shared.

She also added some light on the wedding. She added: “There isn’t a fight for once. Things go according to plan, with the odd hitch. Charity’s very emotional…and overwhelmed with it all. There are so many scenes where she’s crying a lot. She’s been through so much in the past few months and there’s a frenetic energy to her.”
Her ex Cain will not be happy with the nuptials.

“There’s a lovely scene on the day of the wedding and I think the audience will be surprised at just how different Cain and Charity are with one another, where they’ve been at loggerheads,” she continued.

“They have both had to mature very quickly because Cain is coming to terms with the fact that Charity does love Jai. There will always be a connection between her and Cain, but for right now, it’s Jai,” she quipped.

The new year has just started, but already big names are making their moves to a new life. There was Katy Perry and Russel Brand calling it quits at the start of the year, and her look-alike Zooey Deschanel splitting with husband Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard.

And now, another one jumps into the bandwagon as power couple Heidi Klum and Seal have just filed for divorce.

A source revealed to Access Hollywood about their break-up. Saying: “It’s true and it’s a sad end to the fairytale.”

“They love each other very much, but they have had a very tense time in the last year,” she added.

38-year old Klum and Seal who is 10 years her senior, had been happily married since 2005, and are parents to their own brood: Henry, 6, Johan, 5 and 2-year-old Lou. Seal has also adopted Heidi’s 7-year old daughter Leni from a previous relationship.

The couple are known to renew their wedding vows annually with flamboyant celebrations but will not be doing the same this time around.

Is this new change in Hollywood in theme with the supposed demise of humanity this 2012? Probably not since this “trend” has been the curse of pretty people ever since.

Heidi Klum is known to be one of the world’s most fashionable models of this generation. She is one of the few supermodels who managed to move past a modelling career.

At least that’s how she sees herself when she was in middle school. In an interview for the upcoming issue of Vogue magazine, the 22-year old country crooner describes what middle school is like and how her relationships fuel her music success.

In describing her experience as a teen, this is what she revealed:

“So . . . middle school? Awkward,” says Swift, who grew up in Pennsylvania, first on a rural Christmas tree farm and later in a wealthier suburban area. “Having a hobby that’s different from everyone else’s? Awkward. Singing the national anthem on weekends instead of going to sleepovers? More awkward. Gain a lot of weight before you hit the growth spurt? Awkward. Frizzy hair, don’t embrace the curls yet? Awkward. “I think who you are in school really sticks with you,” she admits.

In the interview, she also revealed that she is currently single and finishing her fourth studio album which is inspired by her most recent earth-shattering heartbreak with a previous love.

Leonardo Di Caprio is today’s highest paid actor in the world. He had also been nominated for an Academy Award three times but has never bagged the crown in the end. This year, his new movie “J Edgar” Clint EastWood’s Hoover biopic, might just be his key to Oscar victory. But Leonardo Di Caprio doesn’t make this his priority when making films.

In an interview with the Press Association, he revealed his motivation in creating his trademark noteworthy performance.

He said: “I don’t think I ever expected anything like an Oscar ever, to tell you the truth. That is not my motivation when I do these roles,” he revealed.

“I really am motivated by being able to work with great people and create a body of work that I can look back and be proud of. I grew up when I was 15 when I had my first opportunity in movies. I watched every great movie for a year and a half, and since then I’ve asked myself how I can emulate such artistry.”

“That’s really my motivation. I want to do something as good as my heroes have done,” he finished.

Katy Perry is set to make Sims3 even more awesome with her inclusion in the game.

Electronic Arts had recently announced the inclusion of the ever fashionable Katy Perry in Sims 3. The “I Kissed a Girl” singer will have her own Sims 3 expansion pack entitled The Sims 3 Showtime - Katy Perry Collector’s Edition. They plan “to develop multiple games within The Sims franchise featuring special Katy Perry themed in-game content and virtual goods.”

“I always like to think of myself as a cartoon, and now I’m a Sim,” Katy Perry said about her inclusion in the game. That only means that she is as excited as ever to be included in the game. Apart from having her own Sims 3 character who will be looking a lot like Katy Perry, she will be designing her own line of clothes, accessories, furniture and even gadgets and toys to represent herself in the game.

This is a great time for Ms. Perry to be keeping herself busy with her tours and promotion for the game, what with her recent break-up with her husband (now ex, Russell Brand) for fourteen months.

This is not Katy’s first time to be appearing in Sims as her song Hot and Cold as it has been recorded in the earlier version of the game, Sims 2. The song has been recorded in Simlish.

In the game Ms. Perry’s character, who will be wearing a fuchsia pink wig, will be starting out with her own music career. She has the option of using Katy Perry inspired furniture or using the furniture and clothes provided in-game. Players will have to up her creativity in the game by doing tasks such as playing the guitar and painting. We’re sure that even her Sims 3 character will be having a great time in the game and will find it easy to do that.

Watch out for Katy Perry in the Sims as the expansion pack is set to be released on March.

The 69th Golden Globe Awards was another successful event awarding multiple awards to deserving films, actors and actresses and filmmakers this year. However, some big names failed to make the cut as they appeared to be snubbed from Golden Globe glory.

Now let’s get down to business. First stop, the winner for best movie in drama goes to “The Descendants” which bested out other favorites like The Help and Moneyball. This movie also produced the best actor of the night in George Clooney who was humbled to have beat out Ocean 11 star Brad Pitt.

Best Actress for the Drama category goes to the delightful performance of Meryl Streep in The Iron Lady.

Best Comedy goes to ABC’s Modern Family while best director goes to Martin Scorcese with his masterpiece, Hugo.

And for the kids at heart out there, best animation feature goes to The Adventures of Tintin.

Most of these winners will be strong contenders for another awaited award-giving body, the 84th the Academy Award which will take place in February 26, 2012.

In this new generation, Lady Gaga is the new Madonna. But Madonna herself doesn’t seem to be part of the majority who likes the uniqueness of this chart-topping singer.

And that’s a big ouch for the Lady as she loudly professes being Madonna’s “biggest fan personally and professionally.”

This isn’t really an issue, but critics noticed that Madonna isn’t necessarily jumping up and down when she was asked in an interview about how she felt with Lady Gaga’s adoration for her.

She was quoted in an interview with ABC saying:”I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it’s amusing and flattering and well done.”

“There’s a lot of ways to look at it. I can’t really be annoyed by it…because obviously, I’ve influenced her,” she added.

Her true feelings became more apparent when she was asked about the comparison of Lady Gaga’s “Born this Way” with her very own “Express Yourself.”

Madonna said: “When I heard it on the radio .I said that sounds very familiar.” She wouldn’t say it was annoying, she thinks: “It felt reductive.”

This would probably be a big blow to Lady Gaga’s ego as she had been in love with the “Material Girl” from the beginning. She was so adorably giddy when she was commended by Madonna’s people when “Born this Way” came out.

For the first time since Katy Perry’s and –now-former husband– Russell Brand’s divorce, Katy Perry is speaking out their divorce. Releasing her statement via her social media account in Twitter, Perry thanks her fans saying, “I am so grateful for all the love and support I’ve had from people around the world,” she wrote last Saturday. “You guys have made my heart happy again.”

Perry went on to discourage her fans from speculating anything against the fallout of her marriage to comedian actor Russell Brand saying “Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that NO ONE speaks for me,” she tweeted. “Not a blog, magazine, ‘close sources’ or my family (sic).”

Perhaps this statement is in dissuasion against reports claiming that Katy’s religious parents have spoken about Perry’s and Brand’s recent split. Many reports claim that the couple’s divorce is an arrangement from the heavens, these reports are negated by the singer.

According to these now-negated reports, Mary the mother of Katy supposedly said in the sermon, “I’m sure Katy is trending on the internet just to get you to church tonight.”

“I mean all over the world, who knows how God is bringing them in? The most important thing is you are here and God wants to put the fire in you in 2012.” Katy’s mother supposedly announced in her ministry in Westlake, Ohio.

Reports are circulating that Brand recently left their marital home in Los Angeles. Both decided that the 27-year old singer Perry is to take their Hollywood home.

No reason has been released about the break up besides irreconcilable differences.
