Johnny Depp Goes Mad
Ask the versatile actor to play anything and one ends up with brilliance. Johnny Depp looks particularly amazing as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s take on Alice in Wonderland.
The photos have been released a few weeks ago and already the excitement is mounting from the audience and fans of the much-awaited theatrical release. Burton has had a good reputation of making fantastic gothic masterpieces (Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Corpse Bride to name a few).
Depp is a staple Burton star and yet again, they have achieved excellence in incorporating much of their signature into the well-loved book’s characters. The flaming orange hair and wild eyes is the Mad Hatter depicted into a stunning visual.
Stars worth looking out for in their rendition of the cast are Helena Bonhan Carter who plays the Queen of Hearts looking every bit of the moody monarch. Anne Hathaway also does not fail in her portrayal of the White Queen and looks absolutely divine in her all-white ensemble and bright red lips. Plus a whole cast of brilliant actors.
Its release in the UK is set for March 2010.
