Cyrus and Jay-Z Debut At The Top Ten

Jason Mraz and the Black Eyed Peas have made Billboard history last week and now Miley Cyrus and Jay-Z make a bid to stay for long after entering the top ten.

BEP had 20-week run on top of the charts while Mraz scored a 70-week survival for his song ‘I’m Yours’ that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.

Miley Cyrus, fresh from filming a new movie and signing up for a new season of Hannah Montana on Disney Channel debuts at no. 2 for ‘Party in the USA,’ her latest single.

At number 2 is Jay-Z, Kanye West, and the comeback of Rihanna, for ‘Run This Town,’ off of Jay Z’s upcoming album ‘The Blueprint 3.’ September 14, the trio will open the new Jay Leno show.

The Top Ten also includes Taylor Swift’s ‘You Belong With Me’ at no.3, Kings of Leon’s ‘Use Somebody’ at 5, Drake’s ‘Best I Ever Had’ now down to no.6, Jay Sean’s ‘Down’ at no.7, Keri Hilson’s ‘Knock You Down’ at the 8th spot, Cobra Starship featuring Leighton Meester with ‘Good Girls Go Bad’ at no.9 and Pitbull’s ‘Hotel Room Service’ at the tenth notch.
