Bloom turns his back on Pirates of the Carribean
Millions of fans would surely be disappointed with the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Carribean franchise due to the departure of both Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan.
British heartthrob and actor Orlando Bloom, who played the young blacksmith “Will Turner” in the overly successful three films, had confirmed that he would no longer be joining the sea-bound crew for the fourth segment of the series entitled “Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides.” Shooting starts this spring in Hawaii.
The apple of his eye in the movie Elizabeth Swan, played by another beautiful Brit: Keira Knightley, earlier announced that her “pirating days are over” in 2008. This heightened the speculation that Bloom would follow her lead. He said he would be raising a white flag on the role to pursue new projects.
Though he will not be starring alongside Johnny Depp for the fourth film, he thinks well of his senior pirate. He said: “I think it’s going to be great. Whatever Johnny does, I think it’s fantastic.”
Of the new director to call the shots for the fourth film, he said:”I think he’s (Marshall) an amazing director. I think it will be a very interesting fit, because Johnny is musical anyway and I’m sure that something really beautiful will come out of it.”
Aww.. Don’t too be disappointed. Nothing good ever lasts forever. But here at Brandneusense, you can kid yourself because everything we offer are just too good to be true!
