The vampire is not the spider
The Twilight star, Robert Pattinson, will not play Peter Parker in Spider Man 4 of the series.
Contrary to what has been reported before where the Twilight hottie along with the High School Musical hearthrob, Zac Efron are head to head on the competition to claim the position that Tobey Maguire has deserted, Edward Cullen will not exchange his vampire fangs for venom.
“I don’t think I am going to be playing Spider-Man, although I would quite like to do it.” says Mr. Edward Cullen of the Twilight fame when asked if he will be the man to claim the position.
Given the fact that the buzz around him playing the role and the reception has just been oh so splendid, fans of Robert Pattinson should still keep their hopes up as the dashing twenty-three year old would bite the opportunity then and there when given the chance to take the lead in Spider Man 4
Pattinson simply states that the producers of the film haven’t approached him — yet.
The fourth installment of the hit movie franchise is a prequel to one of the most popular comic book heroes from Marvel.
