Chris Evans is Captain America

Chris Evans, the actor who played the Human Torch in the movie adaptation of the Marvel class Fantastic 4, will play the lead role in: “The First Avenger: Captain America.”
The iconic comic book hero in red, white, and blue will have his very own movie adaption, set for release on July 22, 2011. Marvel Studios has high hopes for this release and we’re hoping that Chris Evans will suit up well as the movie will serve as a primer for a bigger release by the said company. This involves bigger comic book heroes including Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr.
Iron Man, the first release of the definitive comic book company Marvel, was such a huge success that it begged for a sequel, which will grace cinemas on May 2010. The comic book company turned production firm will drop another possible blockbuster “The First Avenger: Captain America”, and then later on drop a bigger bomb with an Avengers movie where the all star cast will just keep you gasping.
Chris Evans seems to be one of, if not, the favorite for comic books / graphic novel turned movies. First he plays Johnny Storm as the Human Torch in Fantastic 4. Then his roles in The First Avenger: Captain America. He will also play a Special Forces operative in “The Losers” the film adaptation of Vertigo Comics’ graphic novel and in August he will appear in another graphic novel turned movie in “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.”
