Paris Hilton’s drug charges dropped
While in South Africa for the recently concluded World Cup, darling of the tabloids, Paris Hilton was arrested for marijuana possession. But the sweet and naughty heiress managed to eke her way out of this one while her companion, ex-Playboy Bunny Jennifer Rovero, became her scapegoat.
She posted on her Twitter account: “Hey guys, there’s a lot of crazy rumors going around. Just want you all to know the truth. Everything is completely fine.”
“I was not charged or arrested, cause I didn’t do anything. I was assisting the police with the investigation and answering their questions.”
“Everyone was super nice and friendly to me. I love South Africa! Such an amazing place, especially during The World Cup! Hope that clears everything up. Love you guys, thanks for your concern. Xoxo P”
Police spokeswoman Sally Debeer, said the duo was arrested inside the World Cup stadium when the police noticed they were doing a joint.
She said: ”Police seized the evidence and approached the women inside the stadium. The women were taken into custody after a bodyguard handed a second cannabis cigarette over to the police.”
“Charges were withdrawn against Miss Paris Hilton as her co-accused acknowledged being in possession of the cannabis and pleaded guilty,” she finished.
Tsk, tsk. Ms. Hilton, when will you ever learn? But no worries, because we here at Brandneusense will always be forgiving just as long as you keep your fashion sense intact. And Paris is definitely someone who knows how to dress it, flaunt it and love it.
