Glee brings home the bacon, err… Emmy’s
The surprise pop culture phenomenon, Glee proved its worth in the recently concluded Emmy Awards last Sunday by bringing home the major awards for television.

The show’s creator and writer, Ryan Murphy won his very first Emmy for writing a show about a struggling high school choir composed of students belonging to different clicks in high school society.
Murphy said upon receiving the award: “Glee is about the importance of arts education so I would like to dedicate this to all my teachers who taught me to sing and finger-paint.”
The best supporting actress Emmy was awarded to out-actress Jane Lynch for her portrayal of Sue Sylvester, the vicious gym teacher whose main mission is to bring down the high school choir.
The musical comedy is also the flavor of the night as host Jimmy Fallon opened the show with a skit that roped actresses Tina Fey, Betty White, reality TV star Kate Gosselin and “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm into performing the Bruce Springsteen classic “Born to Run” using the Glee theme.
The 3 hour special will give out other awards in the Drama categories much later during the show, where the competition is more lax.
And while everyone is excited to know the winners of this stellar event, we here at Brandneusense is excited to invite everyone to come try out our new specials. They will surely make your day.
