Lady Gaga claims Twitter crown from Britney

Just months after being labelled the Queen of Twitterdom, Britney easily concedes the crown to the reigning Queen of Pop and Eccentricity: Lady Gaga.

On June 2010, Britney Spears claimed the crown from the man who popularized the microblogging site, Ashton Kutcher. At that time, Britney beat out Ashton by 35, 000 followers. Her management accomplished the feat by frequently posting updates from the ex-Pop Princess.

This time around, the winner did not do anything drastic to claim the crown. She simply put herself out in the most natural way for her to become the ruler of Twitterverse. And of course, being Lady Gaga is not a simple task, but one that only she can do in the entire world of showbusiness.

The battle for supremacy was decided by almost 53, 000 more followers for the Lady. Earning her the most coveted citation.

And Lady Gaga, does not disappoint, thanking her fans profusely for their high regard. She released a video message with the message:  ”Hello world, this is Lady Gaga, Queen of Twitter, I would like to thank all my beautiful little monsters for following me.”

In the message, the new Queen was wearing a white-laced gown branded with the Twitter logo while holding a blue fluorescent wand.

And if you like Lady Gaga but hates her fashion sense, try to hook her up with Brandneusense where she’ll feel refreshed with her new style without compromising her individuality.
