Beckhams leaving UK for LA
The power couple, both aged 35, are ready to leave their UK home, the Beckingham Palace, and permanently settle in LA.
David and Victoria Beckham bought the massive estate, fondly called the Beckingham Palace,
and is currently appraised at £18m. The property was purchased for £2.5m in 1999, making the investment insanely profitable.
The monumental Beckingham Palace is located in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, which the couple deems too far from from their private jets. Since they are now more accustomed to the LA way of living, they want to ditch the London property and instead settle for a modest townhouse as their UK base while permanently moving into LA.
A family friend revealed to the Sunday Mirror: “Frankly they cannot see themselves ever returning to make London their full-time base.”
“The children are settled, speak with American accents and David and Victoria are immersed in the laid-back Los Angeles way of life.”
“They love it there - they’re well liked, have plenty of friends and feel it’s their spiritual home,” he finished.
The couple also owns several properties around the world including a chateau in France and a house in Dubai, along with their preferred family home in LA.
