X-Factor originated in the United Kingdom and brought to the US shores by way of TV personality with a bigger than life attitude, Simon Cowell. It seems that we will be seeing more of Ms. Spears in her designer clothes putting in some new flavor to an otherwise bland show. Hopefully, she and other Disney darling Demi Lovato will succeed in drawing more fans.

What was set to be a continuation of the previous Spider-Man movies, Amazing Spider-Man starts fresh from the very beginning featuring a personal conflict within the superhero, something that the last three recent Spider-Man movies lacked. In this new story arc based from the comic book of the same name Amazing Spider-Man features Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, being Peter Parker’s love interest, in contrast to the previous movie’s Mary Jane Watson starred by Kirsten Dunst. This movie was originally slated to be called Spider-Man 4 until new production media stepped in.

Directed by Marc Webb, who is also known for the 2010 summer movie (500) Days of Summer, the new Spider-Man movie is set for release on July 3rd.

William Balfour is sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. Illinois state does not have a death penalty.

Prosecutors described this case “as an act of vengeance by a jilted husband.” It took the jurors several days to come to this verdict against the former gang member. William Balfour is the husband of Julia Hudson, Jennifer Hudson’s sister.

The Hudson family did not release any statements regarding the verdict but said have extended a prayer to the Balfour family saying, “we have all suffered terrible loss in this tragedy. It is our prayer that the Lord will forgive Mr Balfour of these heinous acts and bring his heart into repentance some day.”

William Balfour was also found guilty of several other crimes: aggravated kidnapping, home invasion, residential burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Much of the media focus is now on the singer Hudson regarding this story’s development. Meanwhile,  the defense counsels of William Balfour said “police had homed in on Balfour rather than conducting a full investigation.”

“In their mind, this wasn’t a whodunnit,” the counsel said.

No DNA evidence pointed to Balfour, said Thompson, who also questioned police work in the case, describing a set of keys that she said surfaced on an evidence list a month after the slayings.

Looks like the former Mrs Russell Brand is ready to get cozy with a new man as Katy was shot in several photos with new man, Robert Ackroyd from the band Florence + The Machine. Katy has been flaunting around the British guitarist around Los Angeles late last week and from the looks of it, they’re not slowing down any time soon.

A witness to these two’s sweetness said, “Rob had his arm around Katy while the group were chatting. He looked very at ease. It’s early days but she’s confident it may be going somewhere.”

Apparently, the two got to know each other on the first week of the Coachella festival during the first day when Florence + The Machine performed. The love connection was made by two other famous actors,  Twilight’s Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson who knew Rob through Florence Welch, the lead singer of his band.

Meanwhile, she and Kutcher already filed for a divorce last November, but the divorce proceedings are yet to be finalized.

In last year’s competition, Tulisa’s pick of girl group Little Mix bested out other performances to claim the crown. Previous show judge Simon Cowell however, believes the show is losing its luster as last season’s Strictly Come Dancing was steadily beating The X Factor in the ratings department.

Seems like Twilight royalties Bella Swan and Edward Cullen are expecting a new playmate for their vampire baby, as True Blood stars Anna Paquin and husband and Stephen Moyer are expecting their first baby soon. Anna, lead actress of the HBO original series True Blood, has announced on her twitter the happy news saying, “Stephen and I will have a beautiful bouncing baby don’t you think? I’m so thankful I have his support, and your support.

“Pregnancy is a beautiful thing! Thank you everyone. I hope you keep supporting us, especially while I am having my first baby! xx.”

This is the first pregnancy for 29-year old Anna and the third for 42-year old Stephen, having two children from previous relationships: son Billy and daughter Lilac.

Anna and Stephen got hitched in 2010. They met each other on the set of their hit TV Series where Stephen plays vampire Bill and Anna plays Sookie, his love interest.

Perhaps HBO can work out the pregnancy into the series and include their vampire baby into Sookie’s and Bill’s story plot.
